The Roles And Responsibilities

In this position, your primary focus will be on providing a nurturing and enriching experience for children between the ages of 0 and 5.

As a Nursery Manager, your role will include:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the preschool nursery, providing a safe and supportive space for both children and staff.
• Building strong relationships with parents and caregivers, as you aim to foster their active participation in their child’s growth and progress.
• Leading and guiding other staff members within the nursery, while also taking on tasks assigned by the Childcare Director.

Required Qualifications

Due to the high level of responsibility in this role, Nursery Managers are required to hold at least a Level 3 childcare qualification or equivalent.

Applicants must also be experienced in managing a room or a team within the nursery setting, and have an in-depth understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
