Early Childhood Teacher
40 hours per week
Shift Pattern options – 5 x 8 hour days / 4 x 10 hour days / 4x 9 hour days & 1x 4 hour shift
Monday to Friday
This nursery is looking for an Early Years teacher to take the next step with their Preschool children and lead a small team. You will be passionate and an inspiring leader who likes to lead by example. They are looking for a teacher who is able to adapt their ways of working and teaching to motivate children on a day to day basis to meet their individual milestones and achievements. It is important that you are creative and can quickly think on your feet.
Duties expected of Early Childhood teacher
Supporting and enhancing children’s development through a variety of effective methods
Making learning fun, inclusive and engaging for all children
Ensure environments are learning rich, stimulating and reflect the children and team that use them
Develop strong secure relationships with parents and carers
Able to lead a team and mentor where needed

What are we looking for
• Minimum level 6-degree qualification: EYTS, EYPS, QTS, Ba or BSc in Early years.
• Experience of working within the Early years sector
• Experience of working in the Early year’s foundation stage framework is essential
• Willing to be creative and make anything out of a cardboard box
• Inspirational leadership and able to build close working relationships with team
• Clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
