Level 2-3 Early Years Practitioner – Luton

Responsibilities:

– Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.

-Assume key person responsibilities for designated children.

– Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development.

– Prepare and support children’s activities

– Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.

– Support and mentor students and unqualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.

Qualifications:
– Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
– Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
– Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
– Paediatric first aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
– DBS check

Salary: Up to £24,659.00 per year
